Cuppa char
Everyday Nadine wakes and
practises on her make believe piano.
Her magic fingers make the white
and black keys dance with her commands.
Perfect keys playing at a
concert.
The music come alive.
Every night she sleeps another
key close to her.
The key locks the door on a
darker world.
A world where 15 means 18 in
order to fulfil dreams.
A world where pianists have no
place but keys do.
Keys to secret rooms and secret
desires.
Let me find a key which unlocks
my dreams she thinks
Unlocking the door she sees
today’s first client.
